“ Chicken and Waffles is a must. Jessica was fantastic from her personality to her attentiveness. My flight was delayed and she was a shining star in my day. ”
“ Amazing Airport Bar - with purse hooks and power strips at every other seat. Not to mention the extensive drink menu (Bourbon especially) with all the Southern Specialty Cuisines (deviled eggs). Cyndi is the delightful cheery Bartender who'll serve you Southern Hospitality with a side of Southern Charm! Delish! ”
“ I recently had the pleasure of being served by Billi Jo at Book & Bourbon, and she absolutely deserves a five-star review. From the moment I sat down, her warm, welcoming presence made the experience exceptional. Billi Jo’s knowledge of bourbon is impressive—she guided me through a perfect selection that suited my taste, sharing fascinating insights about each pour. Beyond her expertise, her attention to detail and ability to anticipate my needs made me feel like a VIP. She balances professionalism with a friendly demeanor, making the bar feel both upscale and inviting. If you’re ever at Book & Bourbon, do yourself a favor and ask for Billi Jo. You won’t be disappointed! ”
“ It's been years since the last time that I was able to enjoy a meal in this place, and it did not disappoint. The bartender saw me waiting and called me right away to join the bar. She was very polite and even provided recommendations. I had a Kentucky mule and the Kentucky hot brown. If you have the chance and time, I recommend you to visit them. ”
“ My waitress was incredibly polite and bubbly. Service was quick and food tasted fresh and hot. I got an espresso martini that was delicious too. ”
“ I gotta say: pretty awesome! Service & selection was excellent and the chicken & waffles were better than anticipated! But yes, you’re going to pay airport prices but that’s because ... you. Are. In. An. Airport. ”
“ About as good as you can get at an airport. And I’d probably visit them at a non-airport location if they have one. Chicken and waffles were on point. And the fried chicken sandwich was great and comes with the best kettle chips! ”
“ You've probably noticed I only review great places. Life's too short to post about something that doesn't hit the mark. I digress. Ever had an amazing airport breakfast for under 5? Well it's possible at this spot. Waffles for 4.99. They are homemade and tasty. You'd have to get a water to keep it under 5 but you just landed in Kentucky. Today I was offered a shot of Jefferson Bourbon for 6 with my barrel aged beer. I didn't need it, at all. But it's usually about 18 for a shot, so I did the when in Rome thing. Kudos to Jessica who provided great service. Coffee maker was out, just FYI. Highly recommend. ”
